According to figures shared by Chainalysis, more than $40.9 billion was spent on buying NFT Art in 2021. Regularly, new NFT projects appear, but some stand out more than others. Here are the 5 NFT projects to follow in 2022.

Yubo, art without the fuss

If there is one NFT collection that has been making noise on the web lately, it is that of Yubo. Entitled Yubo Randos, the collection includes 10,000 NFTs featuring the features of small characters as bizarre as they are clumsy. Randomly generated NFTs can be used as a profile picture or as a single pixel on Yubo's social platform.

That's not all, Rando NFT holders will be able to participate in VIP events and will be able to show off their Rando in the 3D Metaverse application that Yubo plans to launch very soon.

Abstract art through Max Pain and Frens from XCopy

Inspired by chaos, adrenaline and risk, this new collection of NFT signed XCopy combines powerful tones with raw designs, resulting in a very apocalyptic whole.

The collection notably consists of several editions of NFT including the " Max Pain " which includes a subset, " Redemption of traitors " and which also has many surprises in store for holders. The Waster edition is available in 6 copies while the " Gourmet Spicy " consists of 24 editions and a drawing. Added to this is the " DAMAGER LUXE " GIF collection, which is available in 12 editions.

In line with BAYC, stars are snapping up NFTs in the form of GIFs. Recently, Snoop Dogg notably offered himself the NFT art “Right-click and Save As guy” from XCopy for the modest sum of 1600 ETH, or approximately 7 million dollars.

Price: from 1ETH per coin.

Tom Sachs: Rocket Factory Redefines Concept Art

In a completely different style, Tom Sachs: Rocket Factory is a collection of NFTs based on a fairly original concept. Launched in August 2021, it consists of 1,000 rocket heads, 1,000 bodies and 1,000 rocket tails allowing nearly 113,500 possible combinations.

Note that among the 3,000 components, 100 have a graphic sticker. There are also 10 types of stickers with different degree of rarity.

Recently, the famous American jewelry house Tiffany & Co acquired the Okapi NFT from Tom Sachs: Rocket Factory for the sum of 380,000 dollars.
